Bonnie’s amazing adventures lead her back to Glasgow for LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships

A few months have gone by since Bonnie last visited Glasgow.  She is now a star back home in Argyll, and everyone knew of the adventures she had when she was the mascot for the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.

She’s had a lovely long holiday but now she’s ready to have fun again. Bonnie missed the friends that she had made and she missed Glasgow so much.  So, she decides to go back (taking the same route as 2018) and along the way she meets her old friend – the swimmer.

He asks if Bonnie can help him. He tells her that there are lots of swimmers coming to Glasgow for a big competition called the LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships 2019.  He suggests that since she did such a good job for Glasgow 2018, she comes back to help the other swimmers for 2019’s competition in December.

This year, Bonnie will meet swimmers from so many different countries and show them how to improve their technique in all the different strokes.  She is so excited to make new friends from all the competing countries as well as see all her old friends from Glasgow.

Bonnie can’t wait to be the Official Mascot and she is really looking forward to becoming friends with Hannah Miley and helping her in her role as Event Ambassador for the LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships. Hannah and Bonnie will watch as over 40 short course events take place over an action-packed five days in Glasgow’s Tollcross International Swimming Centre from 4-8 December 2019.
